it's the artists' open house exhibition once again and this time clive has his hands full with over 20 artists exhibiting their work this year. on display will be painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ceramics, print, textiles, you name it, we have it covered. the exhibition runs every weekend during the canterbury festival from 11am - 5pm. my work this year is based around alternative landscapes, plus some old favourites.

stu over at lovenskate has used one of my photos of craig for their new advert that will feature in sidewalk surfer magazine. although in his words "because it was late, and i am a dyslectic twat, i spelt your name wrong" but i'm just stoked he thought the image worthy of an ad. proper metal, cheers stu.
so craig is all grown up and off to uni and just before he packed his skate bag, we got these shots down in whitstable on this lovely wall the road kill boys decorated, more here.
had a great session at toms ramp on wednesday with the outsiders & road kill ripping up the mini ramp. thanks to everyone for coming down and a big thank you to tom, who put up with us even though he had a healthy hangover. i got to use my new ebay triggers for the photo session and was very impressed with the success rate of them, probably 95% - more photos here

this is the last plug for the road kill website. the final version of the site is up and running, with a link to the new road kill online shop selling t-shirts, zines, stickers, badges and other gore inspired goodness.
finished website design for london based pr company velocity communications.

i have been working with the road kill collective for some time now, designing their website, taking the odd skate photo or 2 and keeping them in pocket money buying numerous t-shirts and zines. for the launch of the website i decided to interview the pair and i started to pen some questions. it didn't take long to realise that a bog standard set of questions would be torn apart by the road kill boys and a new plan was put in place. this would consist of recycling questions from various interviews from a range magazines and newspapers and letting the boys interpret them as they see fit. you can read craigs's interview here and dan's here.

i have just set up an online art directory kent art space and am looking for kent uk based artists to submit their profiles, all welcome in any media.
i have just photographed a series of wooden sculptures for natures art. all these pieces are found natural sculptures from all over the uk. the selection process is done by the eye of justin gilday and some of these pieces have beautiful organic forms, that look like they have beem hand carved from a single block. i struggled to keep the light consistent in our ever changing climate, but am very pleased with the results.
